Tell us about your transformation and what inspired it.
I suffered a knee injury and it caused me to be a lot less active for a while. As far as what inspired the transformation though, I just realized I needed to stop making excuses and get back to where I wanted to be.
What was your goal? How did you reach it?
- Get down to around 180lbs
- 6 weeks no days off
- 6 weeks no cheat meals.
It was a grind, but with the motivation of the competition and my competitive nature, I was able to stay the course.
What was your biggest obstacle and how did you overcome it?
I still have pain in my knee when I run or do certain other movements but I knew I couldn’t let that stop me.
Why did you choose Bucked Up?
Bucked up was the first pre-workout I ever tried. Since then I’ve never found any others that I feel work as well.
I feel the most increase in energy and stamina from Bucked Up.

What do you do for motivation?
Anytime I wanted to take a day off or have a cheat meal I thought about the competition. I knew anytime I wasn’t giving 100% somebody else was, so I used that to motivate me.

What was the one thing that most impacted your success?
Having the support of friends and family helped a lot.
I always have a buddy that’s ready to workout or play some basketball to get some cardio in. Being competitive and making the workouts fun helps breakup the grind big time.
Any advice you’d like to give to people looking to start their own journey?
You’re going to get out of it what you put in.
If you drag during your workouts and are frequently cheating on your diet, you aren’t going to see results. If you truly dedicate yourself though, you can see huge results in 6 weeks.
