Welcome to Transformations & Triumphs with Buck, where we shine some well-deserved spotlight onto any one of the amazing fitness questers and their transformation.
On today’s “show” we’re bringing on someone who’s made some seriously impressive life changes, all while overcoming obstacles so heavy they would have made most people quit. Without further adieu, allow me to introduce… Tiffany Henderson.
Tell Us About Your Transformation…
Back in March, I was 262 pounds. At only 5’3, that’s obviously not a healthy weight! I was exhausted all the time, I had no energy and was drinking ridiculous amounts of coffee just to get through the day. I would drink water maybe once a week and the rest of my fluid intake was coffee or soda. My eating habits were absolutely terrible I basically lived on; take-out, frozen pizza, and ice cream.

I felt sick and sluggish all the time. I wasn’t sleeping well and my body was just achy all the time. My 8 year old has cerebral palsy and doesn’t walk. Just carrying her to and from the car left me winded, and forced me to take a break.
Did That Inspire Your Transformation?
I was scrolling facebook one day and came across an ad for Bucked Up. I clicked on it out of curiosity and while browsing the website, saw something about a free bootcamp. I decided on a whim to sign up for it thinking that maybe it would help get me motivated to make some changes. I took my starting pictures and wow, was that humbling. I was not at all happy with what I had to submit but I just kept telling myself that the pictures at the end would show progress. I didn’t enter to win, I just wanted to change.
Let’s Hear About Your Boot Camp Journey…
When boot camp started, I’ll be honest. It was rough. The first couple days I didn’t make it through a full workout!
- If the boot camp workout called for three rounds, I made it through one.
- If I was supposed to do 30 squats, I considered it a success if I made it through 15.
- Some days I was only able to jump on the treadmill and walk for 15-20 minutes or so.
But each day I pushed to do a little more than the day before.
What Helped You Overcome That Obstacle?
I turned to the Bucked Up community for support and was not disappointed.
If I was having a bad day, people would offer encouragement. If I had a good day, people would cheer me on and celebrate with me. If I had questions, I could easily get an answer from either a fellow bootcamper or one of the amazing admins. It was exactly what I needed.
- My workouts steadily got easier
- I could push myself further every day.
- By the end of bootcamp, I’d lost around 20 pounds
- My workouts increased to around 60-90 minutes.
- Fitness became my way of coping with stress in my life!
When the boot camp ended, I continued moving forward. I looked towards the start of the next one with excitement to keep the fire going.

What Was Your Second Experience with Bucked Up Boot Camp?
The second bootcamp started and I was READY! Then my life turned upside down.
I filed for divorce. I became a single parent of 3 essentially overnight. I could no longer get up and go to the gym in the morning because I didn’t have anyone to watch my kids. I had to start working out from home which has always been a struggle because it’s harder to get myself moving at home.
But I did it. I took my BAMF or WOKE AF and just did it. I had fellow bootcampers offer support and encouragement that helped get me through.
I’d finally started settling into a good routine when my grandfather passed away. It was heart-breaking. Normally, I would have turned to food as I’ve always been an emotional eater. This time, however, I was able to grieve without burying myself in the bottom of a fast food bag.
Instead, I’d pull up the Bucked Up VIP facebook group. Scrolling through and seeing everyone’s motivational posts and success stories helped keep my spirits up as much as they could be at that time.

So, based off your boot camp experience, it seems safe to assume that Bucked Up has had a positive impact on your fitness journey. Is that true?
Absolutely, yes!
Thanks to the amazing supplements that helped me get moving in the morning (BAMF Black is a personal favorite!), the amazing team at Bucked Up who put so much work into running these bootcamps, and the amazing support of fellow bootcampers, I am a long way from that unhappy, unhealthy woman I was back in March.
- I have lost 45pounds, lost crazy inches, gained tons of muscle, eat fairly clean and drink pretty much nothing but water.
- I have learned how to push myself in a workout but also know when I need to scale back and give myself a break.
- I am sleeping well and have energy to play with my kids and carrying my 65 pound daughter is no longer any kind of struggle.
I don’t even recognize the person I was 6months ago. My motivation isn’t always there but I have now have the determination to push forward even on the rough days.
I could not have done any of it without Bucked Up getting me started and the amazing bootcamp community for helping me get through the rough days.
