On this week’s edition of transformation, we will highlight the fitness quest of lean freak Blake Delgadillo.

Read on and quench your thirst for gainz-inducing gems of wisdom.

Tell us about your transformation and what inspired it.

I was unhappy with not just the way I looked, but I was unhappy with the way that I felt and the lifestyle I was living. I went from 210 lbs to 170 lbs.

It’s been a journey, to say the least, but Bucked Up was there along the way; I’m so thankful for that!

What was your goal? How did you reach it?

My goal was to get to a weight and body fat percentage that I felt confident and felt good at. The most important objective was to be as healthy as possible. I started weighing and tracking my food, which I account 85% of the transformation to.

What was your biggest obstacle and how did you overcome it?

My biggest obstacle was definitely staying on track with my nutrition and calorie goal. Everything gets much harder at night and on the weekends.

I overcame it by incorporating high volume, low calorie, tasty foods. I got pretty creative with recipes with the help from Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.

Why did you choose Bucked Up?

I got to try out some samplers, and I absolutely loved them.

What are your favorite Bucked Up products?

Woke AF and BAMF are my favorite! (Having trouble deciding between BAMF and WOKE AF? Your best option is just to get both, but if you want some extra-credit reading, check this out)

  • My go-to fuel for those really intense workouts is WOKE AF
  • If I’m feeling a ton of brain fog and need some extra focus, I reach for BAMF nootropic pre to sharpen my mind.*
  • When I want an awesome pump, I mix in PUMP-OCALYPSE* (read about how it works here)
  • During cutting I switch between RACKED BCAAs and Original BCAAs. Both help me maintain my muscle mass while in a deficit, and RACKED helps me accelerate my fat loss goals when combined with exercise*(wanna know the differences? Good news: there’s an article for that…)

What do you do for motivation?

Remembering why I started and where I want to go helps me get through the tough times. I think it is so important to create healthy habits to create a solid foundation for goals to be reached. When motivation runs out, you have to rely on habits, so making good ones is important.

Any advice for others?

You are a product of your own life. Make an internal decision to change the trajectory towards where you want to go, and actively make small decisions each day that will help you get there.

Learn as much as you can, and do things that you enjoy. Motivation only goes so far. I truly believe sustainability, consistency, and enjoyability are the 3 most important factors for almost any goal. Need another example of how important all of this is? Check out Drew Abbott’s story.
